At North Idaho Ketamine & TMS, we specialize in medically supervised ketamine therapy to support patients struggling with depression, PTSD, anxiety, chronic pain, and more. We serve Coeur d’Alene, Hayden, Post Falls, and surrounding areas with compassion and innovation.

What Is Ketamine Therapy?
Ketamine is a medication historically used in anesthesia, now increasingly used in mental health settings due to its rapid antidepressant effects. Our clinic offers IV ketamine infusions under medical supervision.

Step 2: Your Treatment Plan
IV Ketamine Treatment Cost:
Membership Fee: All 1 hour ketamine infusions require a $250 membership fee per treatment.  This fee is billed through a separate LLC, North Idaho Ketamine and Wellness, and covers services that insurance will not cover such as private rooms, monitoring, additional support and prolonged appointment times.
-
Private Pay (No Insurance): Discounted rate of $200 per treatment. $200 + $250 = $450 total
 -
Insurance: You are responsible for any copays and deductibles + membership fee = $250 up front fee + any copays or deductibles from insurance carrier.

*Note: in the past we provided a reimbursement program, however this created confusion.  The average reimbursement was around $200, which is how we arrived at our price structure.  While some people were receiving a larger refund and are disappointed with these changes, others received no refund and are very happy.

Step 3: Follow Up
We encourage you to schedule a follow-up visit with our doctor and/or therapist when you: complete your initial six infusions (induction phase) and/or between sessions 12-24 of TMS.
Your response to treatment is unique, a follow-up for ketamine treatment allows us to:
-
Assess how you're feeling after the induction phase.
 -
Address any questions or concerns you have.
 -
Discuss whether maintenance (booster) infusions or other therapies are recommended to you.
 -
Create a personalized plan to help maintain your progress.

Yes, when administered under clinical supervision. We monitor each patient closely during sessions.
At our clinic, ketamine therapy may be covered by insurance depending on your provider and plan. We currently accept several major insurance providers, including Blue Cross of Idaho, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Humana, Medicare, Medicare Railroad, and PacificSource Health Plans. These plans typically offer broader coverage for ketamine treatment. Some insurance providers, such as Aetna, Cigna, and United Healthcare, may offer limited coverage, which means benefits can vary depending on your individual plan. We recommend contacting your insurance provider directly or speaking with our office to verify your coverage and determine your out-of-pocket costs. There are elements at our clinic, such as having a private room, that insurance does not recognize.
Most patients start with 6 infusions. Maintenance varies based on response.
